Non-Assist ODS Slurry Pump
This non-assist air-operated diaphragm slurry pump is known for its strong heavy-duty performance, which makes it great for tough jobs. It works better and last longer than centrifugal and helical screw pumps because of its solid design. This means it is reliable, even in hard conditions. Whether you’re moving thick liquids or working in rough environments, this pump is built to last and do the job well.

The ODS diaphragm slurry pump is commonly used in industries that deal with abrasive, viscous, or corrosive liquids. Key industries include:
- Mining: Handling ore, sand, and slurry during extraction.
- Construction/Cement: Moving concrete slurries and waste materials.
- Wastewater Treatment: Pumping sludge and wastewater.
- Chemical & Petrochemical: Transporting abrasive chemicals and slurries.
- Food Processing: Handling slurries, pulps, and pastes.
- Pulp & Paper: Managing pulp slurries during paper production.
- Agriculture: Pumping fertilizers and chemicals.
- Oil & Gas: Moving drilling muds and slurries.
- Power Generation: Handling ash and byproducts.
These pumps are valued for their durability, ability to handle solid-laden liquids, and self-priming design
This non-assist pump is offered in three valve options for suction and discharge, providing flexibility for a wide range of applications. These configurations are designed to meet diverse performance needs, ensuring suitability for different operational requirements.
- Type Q: Quick-Opening Check Valve
Included with all pumps unless otherwise specified, the Type Q valve is ideal for most applications. It requires minimal maintenance and attention and can be easily cleaned by simply removing two nuts. - Type B: In-Line Ball Check Valve
The Type B valve features a streamlined internal design that minimizes the risk of material clogging or blockage. It’s ideal for applications where maintenance is infrequent, and reliability is key. - Type F: Flap-Check Valve
The Type F flap-check valve is designed to allow large, pipe-sized solids to pass through without clogging. Its removable cover and flap make it easy to inspect and clean without having to disconnect the pipeline.
Our extensive expertise allows for the selection of optimal controllers tailored to your specific application needs:
- Adjustable Variable Timer: This timer precisely controls pumping cycles and discharge duration and is housed in a durable NEMA Type 4 enclosure.
- Air Header: The air header is a manifold that distributes compressed air to the pump chamber, featuring a solenoid valve, air regulators, an air muffler for exhaust, a pressure gauge, and piping for airflow and pressure control. It comes in three sizes—3/8”, 3/4”, and 1-1/4”—and can be chosen based on the pump size.
- Air Chamber: These are optional accessories used in applications with high suction and/or discharge head requiring, the air chamber acts as an accumulator, preventing water hammer, reducing noise, and minimizing pulsations.
